You
may be wondering why a fat furry kittie like me is living in Miami Beach.
The truth is, I was in born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. I was an orphan,
without a roof over my head - yes... living on the streets, until one day,
when I was two years of age, an elderly couple found me and adopted me as their
own. I truly loved my adoptive parents, but the truth is they fed me... a
lot. Time passed, and so did they, and I found myself once again in dire
straights.
The elderly couple had a lovely son. He already had a cat with special needs
so he found me a home where I could be the center of the universe. My new
mommy was working in Philadelphia, but like many other humans, she lost her
job and moved me on a giant metal bird (one that I couldn't eat) to this
place, Miami Beach where my mommy was reunited with her partner. One thing I
would like to tell all you kitties out there, is one mommy is good but two
mommies is really good. They have provided ample chairs, sofas and
counter-tops for me to sleep on. One of my mommies is a physical therapist
and has taught me a new song "paws in the air like you just don't care." The
other mommie indulges my penchant for ablutions with the shower faucet, this
way I clean my paws and fur once in the morning and once at night. While
Maine Coon's are not typically found in Miami Beach, it is a great place for
sunsets, wild parrots and relaxation.
