I've
had Owen since he was a tiny kitten and he has always been extremely
curious and is not afraid of anything. When I vacuum I have to vacuum around
him, he even likes to have his fur vacuumed. He has been with me on planes
several times when I visit my family for christmas. He always gets praise from
the stewardesses because he is so quiet and almost falls asleep in his
transport bag. He loves when guests come over and he jumps right into their
lap and purrs.
Owen has a lot of energy... which at times has been a drag when he decides he
wants to play in the middle of the night. His favorite toys are his rubber
mouse and his tiny basket ball. When I throw the ball he catches it and brings
it back to me, like a dog would. When he is done playing he always carries his
toys back to his food dish, where he keeps them. At first I thought it was a
coincidence that all the toys were placed next to the food dish. I tried to
place the toys at different locations in the living room but the next morning
they were all gathered at the food dish again.
Owen has a thing with water and will drink water out of anything. If I have a
glass of water he will not leave me alone until I let him have a sip. When
I've been in the shower he licks the shower curtain and when he is out on the
balcony he will lick the rain drops off the leaves of the plants.
When he is awake, he is very awake, and when he sleeps he is totally out. He
is on his back with all four paws in the air or he is curled up in his little
foam house, snoring so loud that I think the neighbor can hear it.
Owen is such a cool cat with lots of personality. He "talks" a lot and is up
for anything. He is a sweet, fun and loyal friend.
