Sophie
is also know as "The Princess" and that about sums up her personality!
I adopted Sophie and her son Sam from a local rescue group, ANEW, about three
years ago. Sophie is very devoted to me - she is almost a one woman cat - and
she gets very jealous when I pay attention to any of our other three cats.
But even though she is a princess and very jealous, she is a sweetie. She
loves to give me head butts, marking me as hers!
Her personality is "princess" and she would probably prefer to be my only
cat. She loves to play with a toy that has a ball and a long feather boa.
The feather boa is the type on a stick along with a ball. She goes nuts for
this toy but basically ignores Da Bird and other feather type toys. She is a
sweetie. Another nickname I have for her is "Purr Girl" because she purrs so
much (especially when she sees me because I am definitely her favorite person).
When I get home from work, she hops up on my desk so she can give me head
butts and claim me as hers and hers alone! She is very jealous of our other
cats, Josie, Allie & Sam.
Sophie is not a lap cat but doesn't mind being picked up so I can give her
lots of kisses. She also likes to stand in front of my computer screen when
she thinks she is not getting enough personal attention. That way she knows
that I'll pay attention to her!
