Please
meet my precious Misty who I have had since she was two and a half months old.
She's the proverbial scaredy cat who will run away from a fly or the ringing of
the doorbell, and who doesn't like men except for one of my nephews! An
intelligent cat who can play fetch with her favorite mice, she will give nose
kisses in order to get treats and will insistently cry demanding my attention
to follow her to another room where she has to have her back rubbed (this
back-rub session can only happen in one specific room!). She still chews shoe
laces like she did as a kitten and curls up at night with me under the duvet
and lies against my legs and doesn't like it when I try and change positions!
She cries when I leave for work each morning so more treats to distract her;
she knows when I return from work and waits for me perched on the back of a
lounge chair facing the front door and then punishes me by running away and
sulking until I have apologised for leaving her. She loves a good brushing
with the furminator. She's a very fussy eater and I have had problems to try a
find food she will eat - of course, Fancy Feast is her best wet food and
Whiskers meaty selection the dry (she won't eat any other!). She also goes
crazy for Biltong (when I can get it) and the smell of marshmallows.
