I'd
like to nominate my male kitty, Kirby. He's eight to nine years old.
I'm his fourth owner and have officially been owned by him for three years
now. His last owner said "he's a loving but a shy boy." The attached photos
should show he is far from being shy, and is quite the ham.
Kirby loves to eat chicken, vegetables, strawberries and watermelon,
vanilla ice cream, Weight Watchers yogurt, and so much more. (All given in
very small amounts.) He actually doesn't really like seafood. Imagine that
for a cat.
After a professional photo shoot done on March 28, he has become even more
popular. He was very confident and in charge for the photographers, and it
shows in the photo. This was a birthday present to me, because I just knew
he'd perform, and perform he did.
This very vocal, loving, and physical cat always lets me know what he wants
or needs, whether it's with a weird sounding meow, a smack on the leg, or a
glance accompanied by a purr... he always gets his way. A large boy
(almost seventeen pounds), he thinks nothing of walking up and down my body
to make me get out of bed, to feed him, of course.
He loves to have me play with him and all of his toys and sometimes enjoys
a good old game of fetch (even though I swear he isn't a dog). I've found
his toys on furniture, in my shoes, and once in the toilet.
He has become so popular, that it is quite common for people to ask me
about him, before they ask how I am. Not that I mind - it's all about
Kirby.
