Meet
Toey Toto Toester. If I could give him one more name it would be
Determined. You see, Toey picked me to be his Mom. I really had no other
choice but to give him what he needed, namely Love. He was abandoned by the
side of the road and was fending for himself in a barn already full of tough
and territorial cats. He was malnourished, skinny and was missing a stripe of
hair down his spine to the tip of his tail. He crossed the road to get to my
house and literally hung off my window sills in wailing desperation. My cat,
Tigger, was not too impressed and I was already awaiting the arrival of a new
puppy, not another kitty. The high-powered youngster quickly convinced me of
his sincerity so I took him to the vet, got him all checked over and Dr. David
gave him his shots. He now has his own secure apartment (actually the kids' old play
house) which served to give him much needed overnight rest and recuperation time.
He also likes the garage and hangs out there most of the day, when he is not
patrolling the yard.
Of course he likes the inside of our house the best, and is slowly winning the
hearts of my sons and husband. Toey Toto Toester, you are loved.
