The
first time I ever volunteered at the Nature Coast Humane Society I fell
in love. I came into the cat cottage with 60 cats running around like
crazy! In the middle of it all sat Shredder just watching all of the
craziness. I picked her up in my arms and knew I had to have her. I was
told she had been at the shelter for about a week that her owner could no
longer keep her. She was declawed and spayed and current on her shots. I
called up my hubby and told him I knew what I wanted for my birthday, that
was a week away. She has been the best birthday gift I have ever gotten.
She is always ready for a treat or a good kitty petting.
Shredder loves to come and cuddle up in her kitty bed. As you can see she
is a little large for it! Shredder has a catnip toy she is crazy about,
when you place catnip in the middle she will play with it for hours. Always
check with your local Animal Shelter, then the local rescue groups for the
new love of your life, before you consider buying a pet at a pet store or
breeder! Shredder recommends this to everyone.
