Here's
Tekki-chan! She's my Seal Point Siamese cat. I got her as a birthday
present from my Dad and she came from our neighbor. Tekki-chan, or as I
often call her Tex, just turned one on May 8 and we even celebrated her
special day! That's how special she is. We treat her just like the youngest
child in our household. Although we were a dog-loving family (having three
dogs) we managed to take her in and love her!
When I first got her, she was very furious and kept hissing at everyone!
But that didn't stop me from loving her. I spent more time with her and
little by little she showed her soft side. Now, I can't imagine life
without her! We share a pillow at night, she always stays with me wherever!
And she even lets me dress her up in little outfits, and she seems to know
she's extra special then! And my family really adores her and takes her
anywhere with us, even in trips to far away places!
We have two cats now. I bought her a playmate, who also serves as her mate.
They really didn't get along very well at first and Tex became so furious
and hated everybody for allowing this intruder, but they adjusted and get
along well now. They're like best friends that never get tired of playing!
Now we enjoy their funny schemes together and really love the two very
opposite pet cats of mine - BJ, the funny and wild chocolate point and my
beloved baby Tex, the cute and adorable seal point.
