This
is my cat. His name is Ryzhik. We bought him in 2002, when he was a
kitten. Since then, for over eight years, he has given affection and love to
our family. I am fourteen years old and I remember the four cats that we have had.
But none of them looked like Ryzhik, or acted like him.
You may have noticed that he had rounded ears, like the ears of some of
pedigreed cats. This is because a few years ago, winter was very cold, and
Ryzhik insisted on going outside and he got frostbite on the edges of both
ears. But we love him just the same, and tell him it just makes him look more
special.
Ryzhik is unique, because he likes to sleep in different strange places: on
the windowsill, on a radiator in the bathroom - just that one, on the fence,
on my school diary, and even on the scanner. Whatever happens, he is our
Ryzhik, and my family and I loved him as a kitten, love him now and will
always love him forever.
