Angel
came to us via an Animal Adoption Fair at the Westchester County
Center. Having noticed his brother getting adopted minutes before his
adoption, we fell in love with him immediately. Angel has always been very
special, especially to me... Efrain (Daddy). Prior to Angel I had three
wonderful babies, that passed away, six months apart, after 21 lovely years
with them. Feeling depressed and totally lost having lost my first baby, we
happened to walk into the fair and after briefly walking around we spotted him.
Being an animal lover in general, I immediately picked him up out of his
cage and kissed him on top of his nose. I remember the adoption agent
saying... "He's going home." Feeling depressed having lost the first of my
three babies we felt Angel was a gift from above... therefore this lovely
Golden Tabby was named "Angel".
Angel was a mere six weeks old when we adopted him, but immediately he knew
how to manipulate us. Upon arriving home he realized that Daddy was just
one big softy and to get over on Mommy all he had to do was tattle tale on
her.
To this day Angel tattle tales on Mommy, especially when he wants more
treats. All Angel has to do is look at his Daddy with those wonderful
golden eyes. Angel is a talker and when he doesn't get his way, he'll let
you know. We've adopted three others since then, each of whom are learning
very fast from Angel. We've lost the first three after 21 years and now
have four, and Angel has truly lived up to his name, for he is a spark of
happiness in our home. Angel is truly an Angel!
