Nefertiti was discovered running from my mother's house on August 20,
2004. A gentle call in a high-pitched friendly voice caused her to stop and
see who was calling her. She meowed several times and I tossed her some
canned cat food I just bought from the store. She was so hungry I left the
whole can for her to eat. Every night at 6 pm she would come to the screen
door and purr so loudly that you could hear her six feet away. We would feed
her but she wouldn't come in the house. On the fifth night we were
surprised to see a small grey kitten appear in her mother's place. (My
mother named her Lady Gray.)
Queen Nefertiti, named after Egyptian Royalty, is now an indoor cat who is
very affectionate with beautiful amber colored eyes and a gentle and loving
nature. She grooms her kitten ( who is now an adult) on a regular basis.
Mother and Daughter also both share their space with two other recently
adopted cats Sir Timothy Thomas and Queen Cleopatra.
The Clowder all get along well and we feel privileged they chose to live
here at Pendragon's Palace!
