Hi,
my name is Athena but my parents sometimes call me Pumpkin-Butt. I'm
not to sure why they pick that name, but I think it has to do with the
color of my fur. As you can see I am a gorgeous cat and like to be a little
priss. I found my people through an website called Craigslist. See my first
parents had a baby and they were afraid I would hurt it... I don't know why
they thought that, I am a sweet angel. Anyway, I guess it all worked out for me.
My parents laugh at my many self taught tricks. I have a furry mouse that I
love to bat around for hours and I will even play catch with my people. Of
course I only play catch when it is convenient for me and I never drop the
mouse right at my parents feet it is always just a little far away (that way
they have to play fetch, also).
Athena lives up to her name by being a very wise cat. She will often look at
us with her orange eyes and she seems to understand everything being said to
her. Most of the time she is a stand-offish cat that prefers to be in the
same room but not on our laps, but she seems to know when one of her humans is
feeling down and needs some special attention. If we need her she will sit
with us for hours and knead to let us know she is there.
