This
is our little female kitty Joonie Bug. She lives with two older male
cats and the humans that she owns in Prineville, Oregon. She has a whole
mountainside to wander around full of juniper trees and lovely things to chase
so she is a very happy kitty. We rescued her when she was a kitten from a
household where all of the kittens had been taken away from their mother way
too early, and hadn't had more than a few days of their mother's milk after
they were born. Consequently, all of the kittens were abnormally small. We
couldn't take all of them, so luckily they all found good homes.
Joonie Bug loves to play, and will ambush the other cats and chase them...
all in good fun. The first person to see her in the morning gets what we call
"first lovey" as she is very very affectionate at that time. The rest of the
time she likes attention when she wants it and when it is on her
terms... Which her humans are happy to comply with. She responds really well to
laughter, and will do silly things to elicit it. We are happy to have given
her a good home, and she has provided us almost a year of delight.
