This
is Chief, he is a thick coated tabby, living in Branford, CT. Chief
was a rescue from a colony of 35 cats, he was about five weeks old when
the Compassion Club of Branford found the litter. He had a serious cut
across his right ear, and when I adopted him (or did he find me?) he had
seventeen stitches in his little head. He healed up beautifully, but now his
tabby markings are a bit crooked around that right ear.
Chief is the main guy around the house, but he tolerates his adopted
sister Nikko, who also was a rescue.
Chief's favorite things are a soft bed, people home, and a good meal. He
takes charge of the house and will attack anything that comes to close
too to his windows or his porch! He is an indoor guy, and never tried to
get outside. I guess being injured so early in his life taught him that
inside is better!
He greets me each night at the door, and insists on sleeping under my
arm pit each night. He is a great cat, and he knows it! We have an
agreement... we love each other, and it seems to work! We hope he is in
our lives for many more years.
Thanks to all the rescue groups who make things like this kitty's life
possible. He has truly changed my life.
