Spice
is a lovable old girl who is the mother figure to the rest of our cats.
She is the one who: punishes them whenever they are being bad, breaks up the
fights, or when someone misses cleaning a spot behind their ear she makes
sure that it is spotless. Whenever I come around, she abandons her motherly
role and becomes the sweet little kitten she once was giving me kisses and
even hugs! (she puts a paw on either side of my neck and holds on tight). But
her life wasn't all luxury.
I adopted her from the local humane society when she was two. She was found in
an abandoned home living in terrible conditions and her only companion was
another cat, who sadly died. As a result of her past she is very clingy and
hates to see me leave, but whenever I come back she jumps up on my chest and
practically welds herself there making sure that I don't leave her again. Some
of her favorite treats are: cold-cut turkey slices, A&W french fries,
Temptations and ice cream. Spice has many talents such as: coming when called,
and sitting (yes, like a dog. It took many treats to teach her to do that!).
Spice is a avid hunter catching anything from mice to birds. Once she is
finished a busy day of laying in the sun she loves to just curl up next to me
and fall asleep while the evening news is on.
Although she is a such a pretty girl, she tends to move around a lot when I
take her picture, as you can tell!
