Smokey
should be honored as he is such a amazing cat to have. I already had a
cat (Molly) before I got him and really wanted a friend for her. I kinda had
to trick my boyfriend into getting him.:) Smokey was on his way to the SPCA,
but my sister knew his previous owner, so on her way there she showed him to
me and voila, love at first sight!! He was very skittish to begin with and
would hide under the bed. In the beginning Molly, my other cat, didn't like
him that much but even she couldn't say no to that cute face! After that they
became great friends and he became more loving!
He still likes to do his own thing and will only look for attention late at
night or really early in the morning, during the day he is hard to find as he
is outside on some adventure. He is really good at catching things, as we get
a lot of feathers or half eaten things of his lying around.
He doesn't like strangers much, but that is only people. Whenever there is a
new pet to meet he is there first to say hi. He has made friends with our
border collie Mix and my father's Jack Russell, they like to play together.
My mom's cat was a little difficult but they kinda get along too, whereas she
and my Molly can't barely tolerate each other.
I have attached pictures of him when he was a kitten as he was so cute. You
can also see Molly where she is lying with him. He is really such a loving
cat and think he should be Cat of the Day so that the whole world can get a
chance to meet him.
