This
is our boy Jimmy! He goes by many aliases: Jimmy Jam, Jam Master Flash,
Jimmy Jammy, Jim Jim, McNuggett or Puppy... don't worry he doesn't mind when we
call him Puppy!
Jimmy came into our lives at a young age from a friend whose boyfriend's
brother found him at college. His situation changed and he could no longer
care for him. We had just lost our cat, Buddy! Jimmy was a much needed
friend.
Jimmy is a true character to say the least! And when I say character, I mean
it. He is a lover who loves everyone, including his fellow cats and "those
dogs". His antics include jumping straight up the wall and turning the lights
off as my husband and I are trying to cook, going berzerko once he enters our
bedroom and squeezing into every imaginable position just to feel the warmth
of the sun or the heat from the stereo receiver. He also enjoys nibbling
my leg if I am slow in the "gimme some attention" or "gimme a treat"
department. At night, he loves to snuggle with his dad!!!
Jimmy's daytime activities include sleeping at the window in my husband's
office on his orthopedic pillow, keeping control of the neighborhood chipmunks
(from the other side of the window of course), running at breakneck speed to
chase down a treat, spending time in the shower with the water running and did
I mention sleeping?
Our boy Jimmy has brought so much laughter, love, joy and happiness to our
lives and that's why he deserves to be Cat of the Day!
