This
is Niles. We adopted him from a shelter in Las Vegas, NV when he was ten
weeks old. Basically, he grabbed me when I walked by his cage. I couldn't
leave him behind, then! He has been the most loveable, fun and beloved cat
I've ever owned.
He's pretty spoiled and runs the house. His favorite things are his many
perches in the sun. He follows the sun from window to window all day - then
naps more on any available lap at night and cuddled up in bed for more sleep.
He loves his infrequent trips to the backyard - supervised, of course. For
weeks after he's allowed to go out and explore on his leash he meows at the
door to go again. He has free use of the second-story deck to go out and
sniff all the wonderful outdoor smells and lick snow or rain off the railing.
He loves his sister, Lydia, although he doesn't want anyone to know...
There is just no other like Niles.
