Nanuk
a.k.a. Nanars is my baby, he is four years old and he was raised
with two dogs, therefore he thinks he, too, is a dog. Whenever I go out
for a walk, he and my other cat, Ranger, come along with me. He waits for
me when I arrive home from work. He also understands commands. He knows
that my room is off limits unless I invite him. So he sits by my doorway,
until I say "Come in." And he follows me like a puppy around the house.
He also loves my garden and plays while I garden. Nanuk knows how to open
the door from the back of the house, too. He also thinks he is my
doorstop. And as you can see in the picture my daughter wanted to play
with him but he refused to leave my room. As he clings to my closet sides
with his claws, his eyes are begging mom to help him! Nanuk is my walking
partner and my gardening buddy, he is the son I never had... since I have
four daughters. He is my doggy-kitty.
So if you ask me what makes Nanars special, well his actions like a dog
and his loyalty and his love for walks with his family. He owns this
neighborhood.
