Miss
Marmit is my beautiful six-year-old companion, who also resembles my
shadow. From Adelaide, South Australia, Miss Marmit came into our lives
three years ago as a stray, how can anybody abandon that siamese meow?
Although it's not quite a meow, it has a distinct sound which our family
are all alerted to come to her needs. She doesn't need much, only the
warmth from us or from her Playboy bed I bought for her as a Christmas
present, hesitant I was at the thought of misuse, yet the bed is now her
castle, she is the princess amongst our other two cats who to her are like
servants.
When I arrive from school she knows the drill, a race upstairs is simply
declared and her number one position is always reserved with a final Hi-5.
Although Miss Marmit has all the cat features, her loyal actions are
beyond the normal household pet. She smooges possibly everything that is
positioned in her path, she particularly enjoys the corners of beds and my
shoes when i have just worn them. We speak to her and she answers back
with different tones that make it seem as if she answers with positive or
negative feedback. If only I could take on the role of being Miss Marmit
for the day, to experience time of catching those ZzZz's and racing myself
up stairs and smooging the unsmoogable. Imagining life with out Miss
Marmit is simply an unbearable thought. Her love is undeniable as she
welcomes every other human who walks into our home with her loyal,
trusting heart.
