Hi,
I am Jasmine Alise Tourney. I am an eleven-year-old domestic short
hair mix and a native Texan (Dallas - I am a city girl.) My mom got me at
just six weeks old when a friend gave me as a gift to her. Mommy thinks I
am super special because I am her first kitty ever and now can't imagine
life without me! Many people comment on how pretty I am with my snow white
fur and amber eyes. My parents and brother all have an understanding that
I am queen of the house. I tolerate my brother (a Lab mix) and sometimes I
will pounce or slap him for fun. I am very skilled in this area since I
have extra toes on each paw.
I am very loving and follow mommy around the house (just in case a lap
becomes available.) I love to sit in mom's lap but at night I sleep with
my head resting on dad's arm. I enjoy sitting by the window soaking up the
sun and watching the birds in the back yard. I often jump into laundry
baskets, preferably filled with warm clothes and if there is a box around
I will turn it into a kitty fort. I love affection and I will never turn
down snuggling, especially if it involves my favorite soft blankie.
I prefer to think of myself as the only cat on Earth (that way I will get
all of the love and attention) so I am not fond of other kitties visiting
my castle. I greet mom and dad in the same spot every day when they come
home from work (this results in petting and sweet talking - two things I
cannot resist!) I have special places around the house where I like to
nap, but I prefer a lap or warm feet if they are available. I admit I am a
bit of a diva but only because I am so loved!
