I
first saw Ronja at Christmas time 2007 at my dad's place. He had just
gotten her then and didn't tell me about her to surprise me. She was a bit
shy but loosened up eventually when I played with her. Then the sad thing
happened: my dad died. It was around Easter 2008, and I and my brother
weren't allowed in our dad's place before a doctor had signed a paper
which he couldn't do before after Easter. I knew Ronja was there and told
the police who didn't do anything about it. So when we finally got into
dad's place I expected the worst for her. We didn't see her the first day
as she was hiding, but the neighbor said he had seen her in the window.
Then we looked every where for her and found her in the closet, hiding.
She was really skinny as she didn't eat for about a week. All the rubbish
bins were ransacked and all the stuff was laying on the floor. I got the
idea of taking a small syringe I found in the bathroom and give her some
water that way, and eventually she drank. Slowly she started eating
something as well, and after dad's funeral I took her home with me and
wanted to find a new place for her to stay. But a year later, she is still
here. I fell in love with her! The two other cats have accepted her even
though she is always pestering sometimes because she wants to play and
they want to sleep. I'm so glad I kept her!
