The
first time I saw Vanna I fell in love with her white mane and big green
eyes. She came from a local animal rescue shelter and was temporarily at my
local PetsMart. I needed a companion for my other cat Georgie and I knew she
was the perfect cat for the job. Vanna was very shy when she first came to us.
But now she is the sweetest cat I've ever met! Her favorite display of is
affection is to knead on your lap and to groom your hair. She's also one of
the fluffiest I've ever met. Fortunately, she loves to be groomed.
Vanna has a long lemur-like tail that she flicks instead of wags and her meow
is shrill and rare to hear. Her mane gets really big around October and stays
for the winter. Vanna and Georgie both have big appetites, so food does not
last long around here. If their bowl is looking empty, they'll rip the bag of
food open instead of wait for me to get home. Vanna loves drinking out of the
kitchen faucet. Whenever the cats hear the water, one of them is sure to come
out and jump right into the sink for a cool drink of water. She also likes to
play in the still wet bathtub.
I'm so glad I got Vanna and she is just the well-behaved kind of cat I was
looking for. One time of saying "no" and she usually gets the message. I look
forward to spending time with my feline companions for many years to come.
