My
new kitty's name is Rusty, he wandered into our yard one day, wearing a
cute collar with rhinestones and a bell. He was so friendly I scooped him up
to cuddle, and he purred like crazy. I guessed he wandered out of his home so
I let him go. A few days later he came back, and had some food with some of
the other strays that we feed. Knowing it was going to get cold that night I
took him inside, and gave him the guest room, complete with cat box and his
own food/water dish. That night I slept in the guest bed with Rusty curled up
at my side. We posted flyers around our area, with a picture and our phone number,
after a week or so no one called, and that was back in January. So we have
officially adopted him. He has been to the vet and all checked out great. He
has made a great addition to our cat family. He has another orange tabby
"Ziggy" as a brother, and Harry, and a sister named Sammie. Rusty is full of
kitten energy and is very sweet and I can tell he loves his new home as much
as we love him.
