Lily
(short for Lilith) is the strangest, cutest cat I have ever known.
She turned up on my doorstep about ten years ago at the age of about six
months old and made our home hers. She is so small that no-one believes
that she is as old as she is, but she's tough and thinks she can take
anyone on, and often gets herself in trouble for it!
She drools on people when she's happy, stares at walls for hours on end,
and loves to bring tree bark to the front door intead of mice or birds!
She isn't bothered by any other animals, except other cats which she seems
to have trouble getting along with! She will say hello to any person she
meets if it means she might get a pat or a warm lap to drool on.
Even at ten years she is still full of beans, and is at the bedroom door
meowing for me to get up if I have slept passed my wake-up time on the
weekdays. On the weekends, she knows its sleep-in time and snuggles with
me on the bed all day!
