Ellie
Mae is a very special girl. She was born in a barn, one of five
kittens. She stood out almost immediately with her "speaking" every time
someone approached her. Thanks to her sociable nature she was taken to live at
a retirement residence with her manager Mommy. The residents and staff loved
her very much. She became the front desk greeter and brought hours of fun and
amusement.
As time goes on and circumstances change, Miss Mae faced eviction from her
mansion home on the hill. I offered to take her to live at my house. She knew
me as we had been together every day. She was very sad to leave all of her
people and protested loudly all the way to her new modest accommodations.
Now I had a cat, a dog (Cole and Dusty) plus a husband to convince about my
decision to bring her into our family. Much to my relief, the pets were fine
with their newest roommate and her new Papa was instantly charmed. She jumps
on his lap at every chance and gives him kitty massages and Eskimo kisses at
least twice a day! She still greets with a great prrrrrrrrr whenever someone
enters a room where she is. She's not very good at sneaking up on anybody
either, she always gives herself away. We are very happy to have Ellie Mae in
our family. She is a purrfect fit!
