About Us
Fita, the Cat of the Day
Name: Fita
Age: Four years old
Gender: Female
Kind: Tabby
Home: Minnesota, USA

This is Fita, she is a pretty little girl who was brought to our farm as a rescue cat from a family in southeast South Dakota. Fita is approximately four years old and is a true survivor as she was found near death, frozen (literally) in the ice and snow by a good friend's sons. They nursed her back to health, terribly thin and malnourished. Her ears were frozen off as well as the pads on the bottom of her feet burned from the ice where she was stuck. After months of rehabilitation with this kind family, she became a healthy, beautiful creature who captured their hearts and now ours. We adopted Fita and now she is the main feline lady on our farm. She loves to help me in the garden, likes to sit and swing on our garden swing with me, keeps my Welsh Corgis in line and informs us when they become too boisterous in her world. Fita likes to talk and has opinions on most everything when asked!

Fita was featured in the town's newspaper and became quite a celebrity after her ordeal. We feel very fortunate to have her with us and enjoy her company every day.
