This
is Josie, she's a Maine Coon mix. Because she's a shelter rescue, we
don't know what her mix is, but the Maine Coon certainly is part of it.
Josie is a real sweetie. She does not like to be held, but she likes to cuddle
next to us under the covers in bed. Josie is also very curious. We had a
landscaper working on our yard who commented on Josie. She said it seemed
like we had ten cats because, at every window, Josie was there. So to say she
is curious is almost an understatement - wherever the "action" is, there is
Josie to either participate or, in the case of the landscaper, supervise!
My partner got Josie from a local shelter when she was about one year
old. Because she was a stray, she does not like to miss any meals and is quite
chunky. However, she is still very active and healthy. And we love her.
