In
the past, I had a series of bad experiences with cats that created a strong
fear of them. My husband missed living with a cat and asked me several times
to buy a kitten. One day, we when to the pet shop and Mika just caught our
attention and our hearts. Back home with a kitten so awake and communicative,
I had time to gradually resolve my fear of cats. Mika had a lot of energy and
by the time he was eight months old, he was a little monster. Very smart, he could
always find a way to find food in closets and do some bad tricks. As Mika was
getting out of control despite all our efforts in training, my husband talked
about getting rid of him. Surprisingly, I was the one opposed, crying to give
the cat another chance because he was so affectionate despite everything.
With a lot of patience and love, we found ways to fix bad behaviors and now,
my husband admits that Mika is the ideal cat. At two years old, he still loves
to play fetch, hide and seek, and walk outside with me like a little dog. Mika
will join us any time we relax in the couch or in bed; I call him my napping
buddy! He love to eat fruits and vegetables as a treat and still find ways to
surprise us. He is very affectionate with everyone that we invite in the house
and will purr just looking at you. Now that I love my cat, it seems that all
cats like me as well ... he has worked magic!
