Richie,
also known as Bubby, is a very special boy because he has had a
second chance at life. I removed him from an ex-boyfriend's house due to
neglect. The food bowl was constantly empty and the litter box was never
changed. After I had him home with my three other cats, I realized that he
was not urinating. The vet said he had large urinary crystals which was
plugging his urethra. Had I not taken him to the vet, he would have died.
Now, he is a happy, healthy, energetic ball of fur. He must be fed a
prescription diet that is very expensive ($55 for 20 pounds). But with this
face, who wouldn't do that? His hobbies include harassing two of the other
cats and harassing the fish in the tank. He loves to play and will get mad
at my fiance if he doesn't play. He will actually growl and nip at him
until he gets his favorite toy. He will sit in the bathtub and wait
patiently until someone turns on the faucet to get a drink. On occasion,
he will curl up at night on the pillow overtop my head. He is definitely
my little prince and deserves to be Cat of the Day because we love him so much.
