Doc
is the sweetest, most gentle and most beautiful cat I have ever seen. I
saw him at the Atlanta Humane Society and it was love at first sight. He was
tiny and riddled with fleas and ear mites and was too young for a flea bath,
but I let him sleep curled up on my neck anyway. Now that he's grown up, he
likes to sleep on my chest. I named him after my Grandpa.
He's deaf, but it took me a few days to realize it. At first I thought, well,
I guess he was blessed with all that beauty, but not much in the way of
brains. And then it dawned on me, he can't hear me! So I guess I've been extra
protective of him. He's not allowed outside, but is allowed on our enclosed
patio, and that satisfies him.
His fur is soft and thick and shiny and everything else is pink, except his
beautiful green eyes. His Daddy and I love him with all our hearts.
