Hello
my name is Kilkenny - after the Irish brew of the same name. As you can
see I'm a very handsome boy, although a bit tattered. That's because I am the
neighborhood bully, weighing in at a muscular sixteen pounds. This photo catches me
in one of my rare indoor moments, as I'm usually outside protecting my territory.
I love my little sister Jiggs and am always begging her to come out and play,
but mommy is very protective of her and only lets her outside under
"supervision." I don't know why she doesn't trust me to look after Jiggs - I
could teach her all kinds of things!
I am a very good hunter and like to bring gifts home to mom and dad. They are
particularly pleased when I bring home rats, although mice make them happy as
well.
I also have a very lovely voice and often have conversations with mom and dad.
Mommy thinks she has taught me English, but really I know I have taught her
cat speak. She responds to my needs fairly well if I express myself loudly
enough.
When I'm not outdoors patrolling my territory, I'm usually inside napping, and
I think after all this storytelling, it's definitely nap time now.
