Hello:
My name is Miss Abbey. I am a six-year-old black domestic shorthair
bundle of energy. My nickname is "Tude". Even my dishes say "Ms.
Attitude". It must have something to do with my persnickety nature. I
can be pretty fussy about the company I keep. I like to help mom while
she's at work on her computer. If I don't think she's pressing the
right keys on the keyboard, I'll help her out. I also like to move
the mouse. If I can't think of ways to help out, I just sit on her lap
while she works. If I sit still and behave she pulls up Cat of the Day.
I really enjoy seeing so many pretty cats on that website.
I call San Jose, California my home most of the time, but whenever my
people go to our house at Lake Tahoe, I always come along. After all, a
house wouldn't be home without me. While in San Jose I like to go out
in my backyard to make sure everything is in order. Sometimes I go
hunting, but I don't try real hard to catch anything. Frankly some of
those birds scare me, and I don't like it when they dive bomb my head.
While at my other house I'm not allowed to go outside. That's okay by
me. I don't care much for snow. No matter how many times I sit in the
window and meow at the snow to stop, it comes back again. And what's up
with those coyotes outside? They always give me a funny look if they
see me in the house. I wonder what they're thinking?
At night I like to curl up on the sofa with my people and watch TV or
movies. My favorite TV shows and movies are anything with
animals-particularly cats, big or small. Sometimes I'll go right up to
the TV put my nose on the screen. If the animals disappear, I go behind
the TV to see where they went. I never find them though. I have to
find out how they do that. I don't mind the riding in the car so much,
but I love giving my people a good run when they try to corral me into
my pet carrier. They pretend to be impatient at me, but I'm too cute to
stay mad at for long.
