Hi!
My name is Garfield. I have an awesome story! My human was originally
Rachel from Nashville. Unfortunately, she passed away last December.
Rachel loved me very much, and took wonderful care of me!! I miss her
tons!! In January, I got to go on an airplane ride to Chicago. My new
human, Chris was one of Rachel's best friends! He picked my up at the
American Airlines Cargo Area!!
The instant he started to pet me I began to calm down. Everyone told Chris
that I might stay in cage for a couple of days... nope! Came out
immediately! I explored the house, then laid down and took a nap. That was
Jan. 29. Both Chris and I still miss Rachel on a daily basis, but we have
bonded for sure!! We still talk about her, and Chris shows me her picture
all the time! I sleep in his arms every night. Chris has always had dogs
before, but he is trying. He has been buying books to read to explain to
him what I am thinking, feeling, and what the "whaps" of my tail mean.
He's on this kick telling me several times a day "What a good boy I am"
even if I do something wrong. These humans are interesting animals, huh?
