Hi,
my name is Angel Baby Girl Taylor. I live with my parents in the
beautiful Northwest. The vet says I'm part Himalayan because of my coloring,
all this hair and blue eyes but I do have a little bit of apricot coloring
on my forehead. Notice I'm wearing my forever eyeliner. My parent's aren't
really sure how old I am but they guesstimate I'll be ten this year but I
still feel like a youngster. We celebrate my birthday on Memorial Day
weekend every year. That's when they adopted me in 2001 and that lady
thought I was about two at that time.
I was rescued from a home that had a very bossy dominant cat that didn't
like me so I spent most of my time on the top of an eight foot climbing post
wondering if it was safe to come down. Now, I'm an only child, and an indoor
cat, so I go and do what I want, when I want. I sleep when I want, where I
want and often! In the summer, I'm allowed out in the backyard with
supervision. I do love to sniff, sniff, sniff and then roll in whatever I've
found. I do scare easily although, and run for the door whenever I hear a
dog barking or hear people on the street. Sometimes my outdoor adventures
don't last more then a few minutes. If the doorbell rings or we have company
I'm under the bed. I don't want any part of that.
Two days a week I'm served tuna for lunch. My favorite food in the whole
world! Thank you very much. I would even give up love from my Mama for tuna.
I follow her around like a puppy when she is home otherwise I keep my Papa
company. My Mama is my favorite person and forever love. She talks to me
like a baby and I purr, purr, purr. My Papa is the more serious of the two
and he's the only one I'll let groom me. He is very attentive to all my
needs from keeping my litter box clean (I love to run down the hall full
throttle after I poop. It's such a freeing experience!) to giving me fresh
water and food twice a day.
Angel's Mama here: Angel doesn't like to be picked up and held but she'll
come and sit on my lap for hours at a time. She also snuggles with me at
night lying right next to my head and licks my fingers throughout the night.
Her top priority is her tuna and tuna treats. I don't think her first two
owners played with her because she's not very interested in that, although
she does get extra silly when I give her catnip. Her favorite toy would have
to be a ball of yarn that she bats around the house until there is nothing
left. She'll sit and stare at the end until we wind it up and then she does
it all over again. We love Angel very much and she is the center of our
attention. She entertains us and keeps us laughing and we hope she is a part
of our family for many more years.
