This
is Bear. Bear was born with his littermates under a skid of lumber
in the parking lot of my husband's office. Being a bunch of animal
lovers, they noticed when their mom stopped showing up and started caring
for the kittens. We found homes for all of them but could not resist bringing
Bear home. Bear is not the most loving of our cats (we have three
others). But he has such a unique personality that he always makes me
smile. He loves the two new kittens we adopted last month and has
really started to look after and play with them.
The first year of his life his best friend was one of our Golden
Retrievers, Dakota. The two of them would wrestle and play all the
time. Bear would finally have to go off and give himself a bath from
all the dog slobber that he would be covered in. And we all agree he
is one of the prettiest and softest cats we have ever seen. We were not
planning on getting another cat when we got Bear, but we agree - he
found us and has made our home a much happier place.
