We
got Case from the animal shelter in Beilen, The Netherlands (not too
far from our home in Groningen) in 2003. Case was six years old when he
joined our family. Case has been the joy of the neighborhood and he's
brought home friends from day one. He's widely known as the 'mayor' of
out street. Charlie, Smulan and Ivar are but three names of friends that we
happen to know and all the other cat friends he brings over are welcome
to come in for snacks, but we make sure they leave our house at dinner
time, so that their own families don't miss them, of course!
In the winter of 2005 Case brought home a little stray cat that had been
wandering the neighbourhood for some time. After we had spread leaflets
around to find out if she belonged to anyone for a number of weeks we
decided she definitely wanted to stay with us. MEES (pronounced Mace)
has been with us ever since.
