I
think my little kitty Raisin deserves to be a honored. I rescued her
from a no-kill kitty shelter about six months ago as I couldn't leave
her there, she was just too cute. She was, and still is, very
underweight though. A visit to the vet was definitely needed. We learned
that she has a heart arythmia and may only live to be four or five since
it is pretty severe. So I am going to make sure she lives a happy life
for the time that we have together.
She is around two years old, not sure exactly what breed. She's taking a
nap next to me right now.
Here is why Raisin is special to me. She loves to sleep with me every
night and sometimes I wake up during the night and she is cuddled up
against me with her face right next to mine. In the mornings she keeps
me company in the bathroom while I shower, then follows me back to my
room to hang out while I get ready for work. She meows to let me know
she wants some breakfast, and as I'm walking to the kitchen loves to run
in between my legs and try to trip me. She has already been accidentally
kicked a few times because of this, but will learn eventually, I hope.
I bought her a harness and leash so we can go for walks outside, today
we saw a horse, and I learned that Raisin is not a big fan, so that
ended our walk.
I took this picture while she was relaxing in the window, it was the
cutest thing I have seen her do yet. I hope you think she is as adorable as I do.
