Pippi
is a beautiful and kind calico cat that joined our family ten
years ago after living in several other homes. We promised Pippi that
she would live with us forever and we are very happy that she agreed to
become part of our family.
When we first met Pippi, she did not speak. We talked to her frequently
and she soon began to use different vocalizations to express what she
wants and how she feels. She loudly tells us when it is time to feed
her or when she wants to play.
Pippi travels well in the car and she yells at every passing
semi-trailer truck. When we moved to Tennessee, Pippi was in the car
with us for twelve hours. She was so excited to see and yell at all the
trucks that she had a hoarse voice the next day.
Pippi also uses her tail to express her emotions. When she is happy or
excited, especially at dinner time, her tail is very fluffy. She also
is very happy to greet visitors to our house. She knows that everyone
is here especially to see her. In addition to humans, Pippi enjoys
having her cousin, a Sheltie named Noel visit her.
We are grateful that Pippi is part of our family and we love her very much.
