Lucy
is our pretty American Shorthair girl. She is a very special cat to
our family. We believe our cat Lucy was brought to us by divine
intervention. My seven-year-old daughter had wanted a cat and prayed
repeatedly for one. One day as I was leaving to go to work, I found a
little kitten in my garage. I gave her some food and put her back out, but
she never left. So, I think my daughter's prayers were answered.
Lucy is a great cat and will put up with all of the affection she receives
from a five-year-old and a seven-year-old. As you can imagine, that takes
a lot of patience, especially for a young cat. She didn't appreciate being
woken from her nap for this picture, though. Lucy is a very active cat.
She loves to hunt and when we play ball in the yard she likes to chase the
balls. We may never know where she came from, but we know she is home for life!
