Biggins
moved into the neighborhood nearly five years ago along with a
beautiful female Dachshund and a very nice younger couple who had just
had a baby boy. Biggins quickly made friends with me by sauntering onto
my front porch and plopping down at my feet exposing his big white
belly. Of course I complied with his demands and gave him a nice long
belly rub. Yes, his fur is just as soft as it looks - even softer on
his belly! Before long, Biggins also made friends with my four outside
stray cats, learning to share their food and finally learning to play
nice without fighting.
Six months later Biggins' family decided to purchase a German Shepherd
pup. As the pup grew, Biggins was chased onto my property several times
a day. Finally giving up his own family, I welcomed Biggins into my
family where he loves to be the center of attention.
Biggins is the calmest, most friendly cat I have ever known. His
favorite pastime, besides eating and getting belly rubs, is keeping me
company. When I am working or sitting outdoors, he is right there by my
side helping me with whatever I happen to be doing. He especially
enjoys helping me with yard work!
Biggins is a tremendous joy to be around and has a special unconditional
love that exceeds any animal I have ever known. I am so fortunate and
Blessed to have him in my life!
