That
is Sarabi San Saba, know as just "Saba." Saba is a unique and
beautiful cat. She loves to play in the water, plays fetch with her
stuffed toy mice, and loves be your companion with you in the restroom.
She sleeps at the foot of the bed every night and loves for you to raise
the blinds so that she can sun bathe.
Saba is our first Bengal. We had always wanted to have a Bengal in our
pet family (we also have two black Siamese mixed boys). We purchased
Saba from a local breeder, selling their last litter before retirement.
When we went to pick Saba up they offered to give us the remaining cub
as well. With pleasure we took her as well. The exact same thing
happened when we adopted our Siamese mixed pair of brothers as well.
Saba is unique in her personality. She has an air of regalness about her
in the way that she slinks about, daintily picks at her food piece by
piece, and how she likes to sit and stare at people. She is quietly
loyal, she will follow us to every room and jump up on the sink when the
water faucet springs to life, ensuring that we top off her water bowl
that sits in a corner on the cabinet. Saba is affectionate and loving
and provides us with endless entertainment by watching her run, play,
and interact with her brothers and sister. But, don't try to hold her
unless you want to hear her growl like the Asian Leopard that she is
descended from!
