This
is Muffin. She adopted our family last year when she was about six
months old. At that time she was a stray cat living on the streets
without a loving home. Gradually, over time, she would allow us to touch
her, usually after she finished the dinner we provided for her.
Earlier this year we took her in to be spayed. I was afraid after she
returned home she would leave and not want anything to do with us. It
was the exact opposite; she loves us more than ever. Muffin is a very
special cat. She knows when I am not feeling well and will sit on my lap
and rub up against me. She especially likes to rub her face against mine
which always makes me feel better. She will let you know when she wants
food or attention by her meow which sounds more like "Now".
Muffin is trying to make friends with our older dog who really dislikes
cats and who recently lost his doggy sister and best friend to old age.
She has done a good job as he no longer chases her away like he use to.
We love Muffin very much and we do not know what we would do without her
in our life.
