Introducing
Elena, my playful girl. Elena was found with her kitten and
brought to the animal shelter. Her little kitten almost immediately
found a home. But as usual, the mother stayed in the animal shelter and
didn't find a home.
When we were at the animal shelter, we noticed Elena was very playful.
She liked to climb on your shoulder and stay there for a while. My wife
liked Elena, but since we already had three cats... However, I reserved
Elena and was planning to adopt her on my wife's birthday.
However, it was very cold in December and it was almost Christmas. Since
my wife's birthday was on December 29th and I didn't want Elena to spend
Christmas eve in the animal shelter, we went a week earlier.
I told my wife I had a birthday present, and gave her an envelope. In
there were five separate pieces of paper: two times an "E", one "L", one "N"
and an "A". My wife looked surprised but started to solve the puzzle. It
didn't take long before she found the solution: "E-L-E-N-A". We went to
the animal shelter and brought Elena with us. Minou, our playful cat,
was immediately interested.
Minou and Elena are two of a kind: they are playing together and chasing
each other like they were siblings, which now they are! Our home is a
happier place with Elena in it.
