This
is J.G. Brill, probably the only cat you'll ever meet named after a
company that used to make streetcars. My hobby is restoration and
operation of antique streetcars, so naturally he acquired a streetcar
name. In the photo above, you can see Brill lounging on top of one of my
trolley destination signs.
I received Brill a year ago from a co-worker who
thought that I needed a kitten to keep me company. He's the first male cat
I've ever hand and is much more agreeable than his female cousins who I've
entertained over the years. He is very friendly and eager to greet anyone
who comes into the house. He is waiting for me at the top of the stairs
every night when I return from work. Brill joyfully plays with my
grandchildren and comes scampering back for more, no matter what the game
is. He is the best cat who's ever owned me.
