Sweetie
is my special friend. He and I are both extremely independent,
so we are very compatible living together. He's a joy to brush and rub
as his coat is like pure silk. I named him "Sweetie" because he is
sweet.
It's funny to watch Sweetie when I play cat meowing sounds on the
computer. It seems to make him jealous since he is the one and only pet
in this domain. Sweetie loves to lie in the oval lavatory and try to
catch his tail. He has learned to open drawers and cabinet doors, but is
very respectful of the contents. I've provided him with his own little
drawer where I've placed some of his smaller toys. He can open this
drawer and take out something to play with. Now, if I could just get him
to close it back!
As just "Shorthaired cat" seems so plain a breed, I call Sweetie my
"Parlour Panther" - this suits him much better, we both think!
