Beeso, the Cat of the Day
Name: Beeso
Age: Five years old
Gender: Male
Kind: Black Cat
Home: Seattle, Washington, King County

My cat's name is Beeso, which means TomCat in Arabic. He is special because he is quirky, feisty and independent. One of the many things he does that makes me laugh is, in the morning when the alarm clock goes off, he gets out of bed and hits the snooze button and goes back to bed. He also gives me kisses when I ask him to "give mamma kisses" and I bend down and he kisses me or bites my nose, ouch! He is independent when he wants to be. He will lay with me, but as soon as I touch him he jumps off to be alone. He greets me every day when I get off of work and stretches out on my pant leg and sometimes like to do it until he rips my jeans!!! My son loves to tow him around the house on a skateboard, laundry basket or in a box and he just sits there and lets my son do it! He jumps up to catch things that are really high, including lights that are flickering.

If you ask him if "himm is hungries," he runs to the kitchen to get food, but only eats cat food and occasionally pieces of burnt pizza crust. When I buy a new container of cat litter he rubs up against the container and chews on it. And he always has to supervise when I clean his litter box. He is rather accident prone, as he has been in the ER Vet several times. Once he chewed up a glow stick, second he jumped off the second story of our apartments and third, he wakes up every morning at 4am to get into stuff and knock things over and that time he fell on a piece of the broken glass and had to have stitches. He also like to swat pictures hanging on the wall just to see them fall. If I walk into the kitchen and his food bowl is not full or his water bowl is not fresh to his liking and I walk out of the kitchen he will chase me attacking my ankles until I refill his bowls.
