Good
day! I'm Mister, by the way. As you can see from my mug, I'm a
special cat and am very spoiled and loved. My mom adopted me from a
local vet when I was about 1 year old. Her beloved dog had passed on
about nine months prior and she finally decided to adopt another baby,
this time of the feline variety. She saw me in a big cage sitting next
to a fiery orange kitten who liked to boss me around. No worries though!
It beat being out on the street in the elements running away from
strange metal creatures with fast, round rubber feet. I looked at her
and she looked at me and it was love at first sight! I have to admit
though that I was shy and scuffled away from her in the "meet and greet"
room. She was persistent and within hours, I was in my new home.
This picture was taken a few days after I came home. Don't I look
handsome? My mom surely thinks so. I'm still shy and skittish of
strangers, but I'm learning to trust my mom's family and friends.
They're kind of nice. I love chin rubs, my toys, food and fresh water
from the tap. I love to talk and run around really fast, like lightning!
I'm very smart and can sit on my hind legs for treats. Anyhoo, gotta
run. I'm scheduled for my afternoon cat nap. It was nice chatting with
