Meet
Quincey P. Cat, named after a character in the novel "Dracula" and
also known as The Mighty Q and The Prince of Softness. I adopted him
from the Toronto Humane Society when he was eight years old. He is a very
affectionate cat and loves to meet visitors at the door and hang around
their feet. He is also very placid. If I am vacuuming the floor and he
is lying on the carpet, I have to either move him or vacuum around him.
At night in bed, he stretches those long front paws across my ankles as
if to say, "You aren't going anywhere without me."
He is an indoor cat - a good thing, as I live on the 23rd floor of a
high-rise condominium! But during warm weather he loves to go out on the
balcony. For safely reasons, he wears a harness and leash while out
there, and I go with him. He sits by the balcony door and waits for me
to put on the harness.
He's just an adorable cat and a wonderful companion.
