This
is me, on duty as a Guard Cat!
Like the beautiful Queen of the Egyptian empire I acquired my name
"Cleopatra" from my many admirers. To my dismay "Cleopatra" was shorted
to "Cleo" by our youngest grandson.
I came into this world around March of 1999 in Savannah, Georgia. My
birth records were the subject of many inquires. Regardless a real lady
never tells her age. My poor family could not afford the responsibility
of caring for all my brothers and sisters. So at the ripe old age of eight
weeks a wonderful family took me in as a foster kitten. This was to be
my home for only a short time because as anyone with vision could tell I
was destine to become the queen of all I surveyed. One day while
visiting at the local PetSMart a wonderful lady came by and admired my
obvious beauty, and then she went away Ñ only to tell her handsome
husband about me and my Calico coloring. This led her husband who could
do no wrong, to believe that I was the chosen beauty that she wanted.
Sure enough he visited the store to inquire about the raving beauty
Calico cat that was visiting the pet store. After many phone calls and
help from the management the foster parent was located. Within a few
hours my slaves were escorting me to my new permanent home in Beaufort,
SC. In my nine plus or minus years I have enjoyed many exciting and
wonderful places.
This bottom photo is her highness the Queen Cleo at rest. Cleo is a very
loving kitten, with me and better half,but no strangers please,
especially little ones.
